Lottery / Prize Scam in Pakistan

Fake prize, lucky draw or lottery win. Below are community-submitted reports about phone numbers, websites and accounts linked to this type of scam. Community reports are one signal, not a verdict — always verify independently.

Prize scams tell you that you won a lottery, lucky draw or government grant, then ask for a "processing fee" or your bank and CNIC details.

How this scam typically works

  1. You receive a call or message saying you won a prize you never entered for.
  2. They ask for a small advance fee, tax or processing charge to release the prize.
  3. They may ask for your CNIC, bank details or an OTP to "transfer" the money.
  4. The prize never arrives, and any money you sent is gone.

Red flags

  • Winning a draw you never entered.
  • Any request to pay money to receive money.
  • Requests for CNIC, bank details, OTP or card information.
  • A "deadline" to claim the prize.
