Trust & Safety
Community Guidelines
Trustly.pk is a community platform where people can share their own experiences before dealing with a phone number, username, email address or website. Community reports are one signal, not a verdict. These guidelines explain what we publish, what we reject, and what is never allowed.
What counts as a report
- Something that you personally experienced or directly witnessed — not something you heard from someone else.
- A specific, factual account: what happened, when, and how. Vague accusations are not useful and may be rejected.
- Supporting evidence where possible: screenshots, receipts, chat logs, emails. Evidence is reviewed privately before it becomes visible.
- One report per incident. Repeated posting of the same claim is considered spam.
What we reject
- Rumours, hearsay or "someone told me" claims.
- Personal disputes, family matters, or business rivalries presented as fraud.
- Accusations stated as fact that the reporter cannot reasonably support.
- Promotional or fake positive reviews posted to make someone look trustworthy.
- Duplicate reports, bulk submissions, or reports generated to target one person.
Never allowed (prohibited content)
- Publishing anyone's private information: CNIC number, home address, family details, bank account numbers, or identity documents.
- Threats, harassment, hate speech, or discriminatory content.
- Sexual content, content involving minors, or content that breaks any Pakistani law.
- Evidence obtained illegally or containing other people's private data.
- Impersonating another person, business, or Trustly itself.
How moderation works
- Reports are reviewed by a moderator before they become public. Nothing is published automatically at launch scale.
- Rejected reports get a recorded reason. Repeated false reporting can lead to account suspension.
- Reporter reputation and submission limits help keep the platform useful and prevent abuse.
- Navigation searches are rate-limited. Account-based submission limits apply per hour and per day.
If a report is about you
- You have a right of reply. Submit your side of the story using the right-of-reply form. Once reviewed, it may be shown alongside the report.
- If you believe content is false, private, or unlawful, submit a takedown request. We aim to acknowledge requests within 72 hours and complete the review within 7 working days. Every removal decision is logged with a reason.
- Include the report link and your relationship to it so we can review your request faster.
Legal disclaimer
- Trustly.pk publishes community-submitted experiences. We do not verify every claim and we do not declare anyone a criminal or a fraudster.
- No reports, including zero reports, means a subject is "safe". Always verify independently before sending money or sharing codes.
- Reports reflect the opinion and experience of the reporter, not the opinion of Trustly.pk.
- False statements that damage someone's reputation may be defamation under Pakistani law. Reporters are responsible for what they submit.
- If you believe content about you is defamatory or unlawful, use the dispute and takedown process. We cooperate with lawful requests and the competent authorities.
If you were scammed
- Report to your bank immediately and ask them to freeze or reverse the transaction where possible.
- Report cybercrime to FIA (NR3C) at their official helpline and online complaint portal.
- File a police complaint for fraud where applicable.
- Preserve evidence: messages, transaction IDs, screenshots, and call records.
These guidelines may be updated as the platform grows. Continued use of Trustly.pk means you accept the latest version.
